Greg Halpern is a Battle-Tested Winner in personal, professional, physical, and spiritual encounters of every kind and nature from all walks of life.

Greg owes all his ferocity and no-quit attitude to Master Suk who was a Relentless Tough-as-hell Coach if you could survive him.

Tae Jing Suk & Greg

As a lightweight, Master Suk always made Greg enter the heavyweight divisions to toughen him up.Greg He would say, ", if you don't win, I kill you." needless to say, Greg made sure he always won!!!

Here is Greg's semi-final ippon counter at the 1975 Dallas High School Nationals.

greg had 738 amateur matches, including 22 losses, mostly from 1969 to 1973 as a beginner junior. Greg won roughly a third of his matches with submissions (pins, chokes, armbars) winning 12 by decisions, so most of his wins were from throws. Greg's favorite technique is Kata Garuma which he used to win over 100 times at state, regional, National and International tournaments.

Greg loves counters and combinations which he has used to get ippons and win decisively often.

Greg's favorite backup technique he used to win at every championship level is the "Irwin Cohen double leg attack Tai oToshi." In 2014, greg used it in his gold medal match in the Cal State Olympics.

Greg shocked everyone but GREG

Greg shocked everyone at the Trials

But First Greg Beat Bobby Berland

Greg Counters uchi mata for the Win

Berland was Steve and Irwin Cohen's protegE' & he was expected to easily beat greg at the National Trials. Greg Countered Bobby's Uchimata for the only score of the match. (See pic just above.)

Six months later, Greg went 13 wins and one loss at the Maccabiah Games in Tel Aviv Israel, Capturing silver in the lightweight division at 6 wins by ippon and a questionable decision loss to Brazilian Zyman Maliro.

in the team match, Greg went 7 wins by iPpon and no losses getting his revenge decisively over the Brazilian, and giving the USA the gold which was a long shot with the USA fielding 6 men against all 7 man teams - meaning the usa had to forfeit one match against each team.

Steve Cohen provides color in his interview below documenting that it was Greg's seven ippons in 7 team matches that gave the USA the GOLD MEDAL.

originaly inspired by a breif stint with Curtis Sliwa of the guardian angels, Greg developed a program decades ago called The Braveway with the goal to unite 157 million martial artists around the world who he feels are Brave and Strong and can ensure a better world for future generations.

The Core of Braveway training is the very ancient deadly-as-hell art called Chin Na, which is based on attacking the weak extremeties.

Greg loves to practice any and every martial art for diversity with his current love being Wing Chun Gung Fu and he plans to train in the near future with top action star and legitimate badass Donny Yen.

Below, is Greg's love for Nunchaku, and Stick Dummy. Also, multi-action from a series Greg developed called "Fight This" mixing together various styles he currently practices along with old Judo Championship wins and various weapon katas he invents for fun and creativity.

Greg haD 38 for 38 victories in the 1980's in what was loosely called fight club. IT WAS, IN GREG'S OPINION, MERELY A BLOODY STREET FIGHT FOR PRIDE. below is just one of many mishaps from a torn eye socket and lacerated cornea greg suffered.

IN THE EARLY 90'S GREG did a brief stint at Tenri Dojo in East Los Angeles and With Royce and Rorian Gracie in Torrance just before WOW productions launched UFC 1 and UFC 2.

These most compelling Blood Baths were used to Showcase that Gracie Jui Jitsu could submit other Martial Artists who were more strike-based and deficient grapplers THAT COULD BE TAKEN DOWN AND SUBMITTED.

AFTER THAT, BRUCE LEE'S WISH FOR TRUE MIXED MARTIAL ARTS CAME TRUE BECAUSE TO SURVIVE IN MMA, FIGHTERS HAD TO OPEN UP TO EVERY POSSIBILITY and learn many differing styles.

GREG HAD A 9000 SQUARE FOOT DOJO UNTIL 2OO7 WHERE EVEN RONDA ROUSEY CAME TO TRAIN BEFORE THE OLYMPICS.

TODAY, GREG IS WORKING ON TRAINING A NEW UFC WORLD SUPER CHAMPION THAT HE SAYS WILL GO FROM TOTALLY UNKNOWN TO EASILY AND PROFOUNDLY BEATing EVERY OPPONENT LIKE NO ONE EVER HAS before.

Below Greg's dojo is the cousin of his close friend - Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva.

Even though a terrible injury at age 20 caused greg to have five disintegrated discs in his lower back Lumbars L-1 through L-5, he can still do at least 100 Fully Extended Push-ups in 2 minutes or less now at age 65. This defies all known science of anatomy. See if you can do even one without seriously injuring your back.

greg Halpern is a battle tested winner as good as any before him.

Greg is one of the only people to beat Robert Berland in the middle of berland;s unstoppable career and Greg did it decisively when no one believed Berland could lose and when everyone was confident Halpern could not beat Berland.

Olympian Steve Cohen goes on to explain above that Halpern has always been an over achiever. Cohen explains that Halpern won the Trials when nobody expected him to win anything.

Cohen further explains that Greg then won the team Competition for the USA when no one expected him to do that either. Greg had to win 7 of 7 matches decisively in one of the very few times the USA took home the gold.

Many UFC fighters have benefitted from Greg Halpern.

Soon, the world will see the best all-time MMA fighter that Greg is creating now with futuristic methods that will set a new standard unlike anything ever seen before.
